An electronic apparatus includes: an operation panel configured to display a screen and receive an operation performed by a user; an agent unit configured to, upon receipt of message data from a remote maintenance server on a maintenance service provider side, provide an instruction to display a message screen based on the message data; and a display control unit configured to control the display of a screen on the operation panel and configured to, when the instruction to display the message screen is received while an operation screen is being displayed, display the message screen on the operation panel upon detection of an end of an operation of the operation panel performed by the user. |
