<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article separating and feeding device reliably separating and feeding an article without being brought into contact with an article in a standby state on a first conveyor device. <P>SOLUTION: This article separating and feeding device 3 is arranged between a first conveyor device 1 at an upstream side and a second conveyor device 2 at a downstream side with different conveying directions, receives the article carried from the first conveyor device 1 and can change a conveying direction for conveying the article toward the second conveyor device. This article separating and feeding device includes: a bottom plate 35 for constituting a conveying path of the article 5; a plurality of press-conveying fingers 34 attached to an endless chain 33 turning in a horizontal plane so as to protrude toward a horizontal direction outer side. The press-conveying fingers moves above the bottom plate, and press-conveys the article on the bottom plate.
