[Class 97 (i).] In apparatus comprising two projectors g, c, having projection axes intersecting on the screen a, one projector g contains a circular diapositive rotatable about a central masking area, and intermittently changed images are projected by the other projector c on to the dark area of the screen enclosed by the rotating image. As shown, the diapositive is rotated through a pulley o, and a strip e of diapositives is intermittently fed through the projector c by a maltese cross mechanism s. The rotating diapositive may comprise two discs h<1>, h<11>, Fig. 2, and both may be rotatable, in opposite directions, by toothed rims l, m and a bevel wheel n on the spindle of the pulley o, or one may be fixed and the other rotatable. |
