This invention relates to an indexing system, and to a method of operating an indexing system, the method comprising receiving a request from a user by way of a receiver module, the request including at least a unique identifier; accessing a database, by way of an association module communicatively coupled to the database and the receiver module, to retrieve at least one Uniform Resource Locator (URL) associated with the unique identifier received from the user, the database storing a plurality of unique identifiers for goods or services and URLs associated with the goods, persons or services; and transmitting the at least one retrieved URL to the user by way of a transmission module communicatively coupled to the association module. |
