<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To photograph a horizontal image at a fixed field angle regardless of inclination of an imaging apparatus while effectively utilizing image information generated in imaging means. <P>SOLUTION: An image segmentation area of a predetermined size is segmented from an image obtained from the imaging means, the image in the image segmentation area is displayed at image display means (S203), and the image segmentation area is rotated so that the image segmentation area does not project from a light receiving surface of the imaging means and becomes horizontal according to the inclination of the imaging apparatus (S205). When photographing is instructed, the image segmentation area is enlarged within such a range that it does not project from the light receiving surface of the imaging means according to the inclination, optical zoom means is operated so as to offset a change to a wide angle side of the field angle by the enlargement at the same time (S207), and then the image in the image segmentation area is generated as image data (S208). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
