The present invention relates to a system and a method for providing an object recognition service, and an apparatus therefor and a computer-readable medium in which a computer program is recorded therefor. More specifically, the system for providing an object recognition service extracts and stores features for each image captured at a plurality of angles for an object, and provides object-related information through accurate recognition of an object to be queried by a user based on the features. The present invention additionally uses feature information extracted from representative images which are actually captured and interpolated images which are interpolated with respect to the representative images, and compares the feature information with feature information extracted from query images generated for queries. Therefore, the scope of object recognition in response to the query images can be broadened, and thus the accuracy in recognizing objects can be greatly increased to enhance the accuracy and reliability in providing object-related information. |
