摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal support type solid oxide fuel battery cell which is excellent in cell strength, has rigidity against torsion and deflection, and is excellent in adhesion of a metal support and an electrode layer, and for which a fine electrolyte layer is manufactured by a simple manufacturing method, and a solid oxide fuel battery using such a cell further.SOLUTION: For the metal support type solid oxide fuel battery cell according to the present invention, on a support (A) comprising a metal partition and having a honeycomb structure provided with a plurality of through-holes, a fuel electrode (B), a solid electrolyte (C) and an air electrode (D) are arranged in the order of (B), (C) and (D). The number of through-holes of the support (A) is in the range of 100 to 2000/inch, a height of the support is 100 to 2000 μm, a thickness of the metal partition is in the range of 10 to 1000 μm, and on a surface of the metal partition, projections each having a height of 1 μm or higher are formed for an average of 10 pieces or more in every 1 cmof the surface.
