<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid harmonic resonance occurring in a long-distance cable system without affecting voltage variation of other systems. <P>SOLUTION: A long-distance power cable 10 is connected to a power transmission line 8 connected to a principal transformer 5 of a first substation 3. A series reactor 15 having a proper inductance value is inserted between the principal transformer 5 and power transmission line 8. The value of inductance is a value at which the power transmission system does not resonate to odd-order harmonics such as harmonics of third order, fifth order, seventh order, etc. The series reactor 15 is provided with a tap 15a capable of adjusting the resonance frequency by±5-30%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
