PURPOSE:To make a new combination possible and reduce a change of relative positions when either a panel or a shadow mask becomes defective by a method, wherein a mask set is formed by fixing four springs on a shadow mask while a panel is fixed only by three pins in advance. CONSTITUTION:On a frame 2, whereon a shadow mask 1 is fixed, four springs 4a, 4b, 4c and 4d are all fixed by welding at the welding points in the standard positions maked by x through four base plates 3a, 3b, 3c and 3d to form a mask set. Three pins 6a, 6b and 6c are planted on a panel 5 through the conventional process. When forming a fluolescent screen, three springs 4a, 4b and 4c of the mask set are respectively engaged with three pins 6a, 6b and 6c of the panel 5 to hold the shadow mask 1 on the panel 5 by the springs 4a, 4b and 4c and then an exposure etc. shall be performed. Formation of the fluorescent screen is performed by a three pin panel system. |
