PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool capable of positioning a main spindle by correcting a main spindle center position by adjusting the movement of the main spindle center position (a rotary tool center position) relatively dislocated in a position (axially dislocated), in the X axis direction by the movement of a tool post and in the Y axis direction by a Y axis movement adjustment mechanism, in milling processing, to the center (the work lathe turning processing center) of a turning table in lathe turning processing.SOLUTION: A machine tool is constituted so that a Y axis movement adjustment mechanism A is provided in a tool post 3, for adjusting the movement of a tool fitting part 6 in the Y axis direction orthogonal to a cross rail 2 provided in the X axis direction, and this Y axis movement adjustment mechanism reciprocatably slidably constitutes a slide block 8 between slide guide parts 7, and at least one slide guide part 7 is put in an inclined state, and is provided on the fixed part side 9 and the moving part side 10 of the tool post 3 in an interposing state, and the slide block 8 is slid between the slide guide parts 7, and thereby, a position of the tool fitting part 6 provided on the moving part side 10 is moved in the Y axis direction. |
