摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire cord which has flexibility, high tensile strength and high flexural fatigue resistance, and furthermore, has both high conductivity and insulation characteristic of a surface.SOLUTION: There is provided an electric wire cord in which the outside of a metal-coated organic fiber yarn is coated with insulating resin, in which the number of twists of the metal-coated organic fiber yarn is 180 times/m or more, lubricant having decomposition temperature of 150°C or higher is attached to the outside of the metal coating, a melting point or a softening point of the insulating resin is decomposition temperature of lubricant or lower, and an average coating thickness of the insulating resin is 150 μm or less. Furthermore, it is preferable that the lubricant is non-silicon based lubricant or the insulating resin is thermoplastic resin . Further, it is preferable that a difference between a maximum coating thickness and a minimum coating thickness of the insulating resin is 50 μm or less. There is also provided a manufacturing method of an electric wire cord in which the lubricant having decomposition temperature of 150°C or higher is attached on the surface of the metal-coated organic fiber yarn, 180 times/m or more of twists are performed, and then the yarn is coated with insulating resin having a melting point or a softening point at the decomposition temperature of the lubricant or lower to bring an average coating thickness to 150 μm or less.
