PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator car position detector in which arrangement of a set of combination of a bracket and a shield plate is sufficient even in a case of installing it in a plurality of hoistways having different installation conditions.SOLUTION: The elevator car position detector includes: a shield plate 6 mounted to a bracket 4; and a photoelectric position detector 5. The shield plate 6 includes: a fitting part 10 which has an upper and lower symmetrical shape and is fitted to the bracket 4; a door zone part 11 which determines a door zone region for permitting door opening to be detected by a first detection element 7 of the photoelectric position detector 5; a lower side releveling zone part 12 which determines a lower side permission region to be detected by a second detection element 8; and an upper side releveling zone part 13 which determines an upper side permission region to be detected by a third detection element 9. The second detection element 8 is disposed at a position by a predetermined distance below a virtual horizontal line passing through a center of the first detection element 7, while the third detection element 9 is disposed at a position by the same predetermined distance above the virtual horizontal line. |
