PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a producing method which can secure sufficient amount of collected nanofibers even when using a nonconductive material as a collector, and can wind up nanofibers even when having lighter basis weight.SOLUTION: A method for producing nanofibers includes the steps of: generating nanofibers from a discharging unit; collecting the nanofibers at a collecting unit; and imparting electrical charge to the collecting unit at an electrode. The method satisfies the relationship of W3≤W2, where W1 is a length of the width direction of the discharging unit generating the nanofibers, W2 is a length of the width direction of the collecting unit, and W3 is a length of the width direction of the electrode that imparts electrical charge to the collecting unit. |
