PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve security when performing transaction processing such as an input of purchase product information, and the like, and to improve convenience of an in-charge sales clerk.SOLUTION: A sales management device comprises: a radio communication unit that performs short range radio communications with a portable terminal having a function for inputting transaction information including a purchase product, and the like; a storage unit that preliminarily stores terminal identification information indicating that the portable terminal is a terminal having a connection permitted; a terminal authentication unit that determines whether the portable terminal is the portable terminal having the connection permitted using the terminal identification information when the portable terminal is present within a prescribed range capable of the short range radio communications; and a product transaction processing unit that performs the short range radio communications between the portable terminal and the sales management device to execute transaction processing including a settlement of the purchase product when it is determined by the terminal authentication unit that the portable terminal is the portable terminal having the connection permitted. |
