PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently removing a radioactive material discharged from anF-labeled compound synthesis chamber used in a down-sized and cleaned positron emission tomography diagnostic system.SOLUTION: In a method for removing a radioactive material generated inside a synthesis chamber by a filter unit when anF-labeled compound used as a diagnostic agent is synthesized in a positron emission tomography diagnostic system, the filter unit is disposed inside the synthesis chamber, and integrally includes a blower fan, an active carbon fiber filter and a dust removal filter in which collection efficiency of particles having a size of 0.3-0.5 μm is 90-99% at a surface wind speed of 0.4 cm/s, and the radioactive material is removed by operating the blower fan of the filter unit to pass and circulate air inside the synthesis chamber through the active carbon fiber filter and dust removal filter of the filter unit in this order. |
