PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the possibility that over-adjustment occurs, in a drum brake device which operates by an electric actuator.SOLUTION: When a parking brake signal is turned off (S21: Yes), a parking brake ECU determines whether or not a stop maintenance time Ts at which a vehicle is maintained in a stop state is longer than a set time T0 (S22). When the stop maintenance time Ts is longer than the set time T0, it can be estimated that a brake drum is not thermally expanded. In this case, the parking brake ECU reversely drives a motor, and stops the motor at timing at which a rotation amount R of the motor reaches a set rotation amount R1 from a time point at which a motor current im becomes constant (time point at which a brake shoe is separated from the brake drum) (S23 to S29). |
