PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unnecessary signal components, contained in an input signal, from sneaking to the output side through a frequency conversion unit, in a one-segment broadcasting transmitter performing signal processing by frequency converting an input signal into an intermediate frequency signal, and extracting the one-segment broadcasting signal of a given broadcast channel, and then transmitting the one-segment broadcasting signal by frequency converting it to an original broadcast channel.SOLUTION: In a transmitter 20 including a mixer 24 for converting an input signal containing a one-segment broadcasting signal into an intermediate frequency signal, signal processing sections (26-40) for extracting the one-segment broadcasting signal from the intermediate frequency signal subjected to frequency conversion by means of a mixer and amplifying the same, and the mixer 40 for frequency converting the one-segment broadcasting signal passed through the signal processing section into the original frequency band, the high frequency signals L1, L2 for frequency conversion supplied to the mixers 24, 40 are generated, respectively, in different high frequency signal generation circuits 50, 60. |
