PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately determine whether a vehicle itself can start from a columnar parking position by avoiding an adjacent vehicle.SOLUTION: A drive support apparatus includes: a vehicle body end portion position estimation part 33 for estimating a vehicle body end portion position C most adjacent to a vehicle itself B1 from among adjacent vehicles B2, B3; and a start possibility determination part 34 for determining whether the vehicle itself can start from a columnar parking position α by avoiding the adjacent vehicles B2, B3. Further, in the case of determining that an upper detection region E1 in not included in a detection region E of the adjacent vehicles B2, B3, the vehicle body end portion position estimation part estimates an axle position G of the adjacent vehicles B2, B3 on the side of the vehicle itself B1 in a forward-reverse direction on the basis of the detection region E, and estimates the vehicle body end portion position C on the basis of the estimated axle position G. |
