PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work-piece processing device having a gripping part, which grips a work piece, such that the gripping part is vertically movable, and also having a simple structure, and to provide a gripping unit used therein.SOLUTION: A work piece processing device includes a seat 5 with a gripping part 4. A fixing part 12 is extended upward on the seat 5. The fixing part 12 is provided with an attaching part 14 vertically movable along the fixing part 12 and having the gripping part 4 attached thereto. Opening/closing means 20 for opening/closing the gripping part 4 is provided on the attaching part 14 located above the gripping part 4. The fixing part 12 is provided with moving means 35 for vertically moving the attaching part 14. A deformation restricting part 42, which restricts deformation of the fixing part 12, is provided between the seat 5 and a place above the fixing part 12. The attaching part 14 is provided with a collapse restricting part 21, which restricts collapse of the gripping part 4. A distortion restricting part 25, which restricts distortion of the gripping part 4, is provided between the gripping part 4 and seat 5. |
