PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial flow turbine which reduces the used amount of a cooling medium and improves the generating efficiency of a power-generating plant.SOLUTION: An axial flow turbine according to one embodiment includes: a turbine rotor having a rotor body part and multiple rotor disk parts; turbine rotor blades; a turbine nozzle provided on an inner peripheral surface of a casing; and a heat shielding member including a heat shielding plate, which is provided between the turbine nozzle and the rotor body part and encloses an outer peripheral surface of the rotor body part in an area between the rotor disk parts through an annular cooling space, and a division wall in which one end part is connected with the heat shielding plate and the other end part is connected with the rotor body part located between the rotor disk parts, the division wall which divides the annular cooling space into the first cooling chamber and the second cooling chamber. A refrigerant flow hole allowing the first cooling chamber and the second cooling chamber to communicate is provided in the heat shielding plate. |
