The present invention relates to the field of multimedia services. Disclosed are a control method and apparatus based on separation between a content provider and a service provider. The method comprises: preconfiguring a correspondence between content provider information and service provider information; during the process that a terminal requests media content, searching for corresponding service provider information according to content provider information of the media content; and sending the media content to the terminal according to the found service provider information. In the present invention, content access can be managed and controlled by services according to a preconfigured correspondence between content providers and service providers. |
