PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply-configured applicator capable of blocking a supply of an application material to a nozzle part and preventing the application material from pulling strings at the end of application.SOLUTION: An applicator 10 applies an application material 200 to an application object 300. A nozzle part 20 discharges the application material 200 through a discharge hole 24 to the application object 300, and can be rotated around an axis in a Z direction. An application material supplier 40 supplies the application material 200 through a first supply pipe 42. A controller 50 rotates the nozzle part 20 in response to a supply of the application material 200 in a predetermined volume from the application material supplier 40 to the nozzle part 20, to block communication between an application material supply hole 22 and the first supply pipe 42. In addition, the controller 50 rotates the nozzle part 20 in response to a discharge of the application material 200 in the predetermined volume from the discharge hole 24, to prevent the application material 200 from pulling strings. |
