PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biometric authentication device and a biometric authentication system that perform safe and continuous biometric authentication with no risk of biometric information being used fraudulently if the biometric information is duplicated or leaked.SOLUTION: The biometric information device according to the embodiment a device that biometrical-authenticates a user by checking biometric information of a user having issued a request for authentication against registered biometric information of the user. The biometric information device includes: a biometric information acquisition unit for acquiring biometric information of a user to be checked; a feature information extraction unit for extracting feature information from the biometric information to be checked according to a determined rule, and a biometric information registration unit for changing the extracted feature information to be used as the biometric information of the user for registration and registering the changed information into a storage unit storing biometric information for registration.
