PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the occurrence of unnecessary wireless LAN connection processing between a relay device and a communication terminal.SOLUTION: A communication device capable of relaying communication between an external device and a communication terminal determines a wireless network that can be connected with the external device; and according to the determined connectable wireless network, determines a communication form from a first communication form in which the communication device relays communication between the external device and communication terminal via an external access point and a second communication form in which the communication device relays, as an access point, communication between the external device and communication terminal.
