The objective of the invention is to provide a crystal oscillation apparatus that is less prone to cause the occurrence of a temperature change of a temperature-sensitive element such as IC incorporating a temperature sensor. In the crystal oscillation apparatus (1): a crystal oscillator (8) is placed over a package board (4) serving as a first package member; the package board (4) is joined to a mount board (2) by means of conductive joining members (26, 27); and a gap (C) is formed between the package board (4) and the mount board (2) except the parts thereof joined by means of the conductive joining members (26, 27).
