COOLER

A cooler which is equipped with a polymeric moisture-absorbing material having the property of: coming into a hydrophilic state in which the polymeric water-absorbing material can absorb moisture from the air and a hydrophobic state in which the polymeric water-absorbing material releases the moisture that was absorbed while the material was in the hydrophilic state; changing from the hydrophilic state to the hydrophobic state as the temperature rises; and returning to the hydrophilic state from the hydrophobic state as the temperature falls. The polymeric moisture-absorbing material is disposed in an environment where the temperature can change and the material can be in contact with air that contains moisture. This cooler, which employs the moisture-absorbing material, does not necessitate a massive device.
