PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable steam valve capable of preventing abnormal rise in temperature of a drain pipe.SOLUTION: A steam valve 10 of the embodiment comprises: a valve body 32, which is provided movably in a vertical direction, of a main steam control valve 30; a valve body 42, which is provided on the lower side of the valve body 32 as well as coaxially with the valve body 32 and movably in the vertical direction, of a main stop valve 40; a valve seat 60 that is brought into and out of contact with the valve body 32 and the valve body 42; and a guide cylinder 43 slidably supporting a valve rod 41 with the valve body 42 and having a flange part 43a provided on the bottom side of a casing 20. The steam valve 10 further comprises: the casing 20 accommodating the valve body 32, the valve body 42, the valve seat 60, and the guide cylinder 43; a drain discharge hole 23 formed on the bottom side of the casing 20; a drain pipe 70 communicating with the drain discharge hole 23 and having an interposed cutoff valve 71; and a flow direction change part 80 changing the direction of steam flowing along the guide cylinder 43 toward the drain discharge hole 23 after passing between the valve body 32 and the valve seat 60. |
