摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition control device capable of reducing power consumption.SOLUTION: An ignition control device 5 includes an ignition switch 40, an energy charging portion 42, and an electronic control unit 34. The energy charging portion 42 is connected to a ground side of a primary winding 43, and continues discharging by charging electric energy to an ignition plug 31 in a superimposed manner. An energy setting portion 72 of the electronic control unit 34 sets a target discharge energy of a next ignition period on the basis of an operating state of an engine 13. A charging voltage setting portion 73 of the electronic control unit 34 sets a necessary charging voltage of the next ignition period on the basis of the target discharge energy. An energy control portion 74 of the electronic control unit 34 instructs the energy charging portion 42 to charge so that a charging voltage reaches the necessary charging voltage. According to this constitution, electric power consumed in electric conduction to the primary winding 43, and electric power consumed in charging to the energy charging portion 42 can be reduced as much as possible.
