PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brightness enhancement film for preventing partial losses in brightness on the display surface of an image display device while achieving enhanced brightness of the image display device.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a brightness enhancement film, wherein a high refractive index layer and a low refractive index layer with an average refractive index that is lower than that of the high refractive index layer are directly laminated, and which includes a concavo-convex shape including concave portions and convex portions in an interface shape of an interface between the high refractive index layer and the low refractive index layer, with the high refractive index layer including a lyotropic liquid-crystalline compound, and an outermost surface on the low refractive index layer side being a flat surface. |
