PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coloring composition using a triarylmethane dye, making it possible to obtain a cured film having excellent heat resistance and solvent resistance, and a cured film, a color filter, a color filter producing method, a solid state image sensor and a liquid crystal display device using the coloring composition.SOLUTION: The coloring composition comprises a colorant comprising a triarylmethane dye which comprises a cation and an anion, with an element constituting the anion comprising no metal element, and a resin having both an acid value and an amine value.
