PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal oxide having unique characteristics of a metal salt of molybdic acid, and to provide a simple, efficient, and eco-friendly manufacturing method of the core-shell type structure, and a resin composition excellent in water resistance and thermal conductivity.SOLUTION: A core-shell type structure includes a core having a metal oxide (A) as the main component and a shell having a metal salt (B) of molybdic acid as the main component. In a manufacturing method of the core-shell type structure, a core-shell structure is manufactured by heating and reacting the metal oxide (A) and a molybdenum compound to form the metal salt (B) of molybdic acid from the surface of the metal oxide (A).
