The present invention relates to a RO1S-5 strain with capability of inhibiting quorum sensing and a use thereof and, more specifically, to a RO1S-5 strain, which is capable of inhibiting quorum sensing as a strain isolated from a polluted reverse osmosis membrane and effectively inhibiting formation of a biofilm in particular, and also to a use thereof. According to the present invention, the strain of the present invention can inhibit the quorum sensing due to bacteria and can effectively suppress the formation of the biofilm in particular. In addition, the RO1S-5 strain of the present invention has an acyl-homoserine lactonase (AHL) activity and thus exhibits high substrate specificity to the AHL molecules regardless of the length of an AHL acyl chain. |
