PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transaxle for an electric vehicle in which lubrication performance of a planetary gear type speed reducer is improved compared to a conventional one.SOLUTION: When a lubrication oil F discharged from an oil pump OP flows out of a radial direction hole 44d of an inner race 44, the lubrication oil F passes through an oil groove 68d of a washer 68 on a planetary gear type speed reducer 14 side, flows into an annular oil chamber B surrounded by a ring gear R1, an outer race 48 and the planetary gear type speed reducer 14, and the lubrication oil F is stored in the oil chamber B. Therefore, the planetary gear type speed reducer 14 is suitably lubricated by the lubrication oil F stored in the oil chamber B, so that lubrication performance of the planetary gear type speed reducer 14 improves. Also, by the lubrication oil F stored in the oil chamber B, lubrication of the planetary gear type speed reducer 14 is performed even when the oil pump OP does not operate in backward travelling. |
