PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for production of a rubber roll which can suppress variation of the thickness of rubber members coated on a core metal, in the peripheral direction of a core material, relative to a target value.SOLUTION: A second core metal 22C is delivered to a rubber member 72, while its one end is pressed toward the bottom surface of a chuck 114 through a third core metal 22D, and the other end of the second core metal 22C is supported to the bottom surface of a chuck 146 through a first core metal 22B. The configuration suppresses variation of the thickness of rubber members 72 coated on the core metal 22, in the peripheral direction of the core metal 22, relative to a target value. |
