<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a titanium dioxide containing composite particle that is superior in dispersibility in a resin composition and can show strong weatherability for a long period of time while maintaining the high refractive index that is the nature of a titanium dioxide. <P>SOLUTION: The composite particle includes, in this order from the inside: a substrate including titanium dioxide; a first covering zone containing at least one compound selected from the group consisting of an oxide of silicon, zirconium and aluminum, and a hydroxide of silicon, zirconium and aluminum; and a second covering zone containing an oxide or a hydroxide of cerium and an oxide or a hydroxide of aluminum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
