PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor manufacturing method capable of satisfactorily generating a magnetic field, and further capable of simplifying a manufacturing process, and to provide the rotor.SOLUTION: A rotor manufacturing method includes: a step of inserting a rotor core 7 into a cavity 9 of an insert molding mold 11; a step of filling magnets using plastic resin supplied from an injection molding machine as a binder into a plurality of slits 1 of the rotor core 7 after passing through areas 17, 25 adjacent to an end surface 123 of the rotor core 7 of the cavity 9; and a step of filling the areas 17, 25 of the cavity 9 with the magnets as materials for forming a holding member 29. |
