A method and an apparatus 100 for continuously producing steel intermediate products are disclosed. Liquid steel is cast into plural moulds 116 to continuously produce plural bloom strands 118 using continuous casting apparatus. Subsequently, one or more of the bloom strands 118 is fed in-line to respective rolling mills 150 configured to hot roll the input continuously cast bloom strands 118 to produce rolled billets. |
