<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a card in which a card excellent in smoothness of a card surface can be manufactured. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a card is "forming a transfer foil film including an image receiving layer and a bonding layer, thermally transferring the transfer foil film to a card base material, and releasing a base material film of the transfer foil film". The manufactured card surface becomes the image receiving layer piled up on the base material film.
