<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of removal performance of a removing member which comes into contact with the surface of a photoreceptor when the surface roughness of the photoreceptor is relatively small. <P>SOLUTION: When a setup process is started (Step S21), a control part 100 determines whether the setup process to be executed is a specific process or not (Step S22). When determining that it is the specific process (Step S22; YES), the control part 100 determines whether the cumulative number of rotations of a photosensitive drum 211 is less than a threshold or not (Step S23).
