<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alleviate a linearity requirement required for an amplifier by simplifying processing to reduce a PAPR and improving the level of PAPR reduction. <P>SOLUTION: A primary modulation unit 11 modulates an input signal by a prescribed modulation scheme, and forwards the modulated signal to a serial-parallel conversion unit 12. The serial-parallel conversion unit 12 performs serial-parallel conversion of the modulated signal, allocates the signal to a prescribed subcarrier, generates a subcarrier modulated signal, and forwards it to a signal insertion unit 13. The signal insertion unit 13 inserts a pilot signal, which is a known signal, into the subcarrier modulated signal, and forwards the subcarrier modulated signal to a phase control unit 14. The phase control unit 14 adds a phase rotation amount calculated by use of a prescribed formula to the subcarrier modulated signal and forwards the subcarrier modulated signal to an IFFT unit 15. The IFFT unit 15 performs IFFT of the subcarrier modulated signal with the added phase rotation amount to generate a baseband signal, and forwards the baseband signal to a transmission unit 16. The transmission unit 16 generates a transmission signal from the baseband signal, and transmits the transmission signal to another device via an antenna 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
