The invention relates to a method for reserving a charging device (3) for charging a traction battery (16) of an electrically powered vehicle (14). In the method, upon receipt of a reservation message (36) containing information about a reservation time period, a first charging device (1) is reserved for this reservation time period. At a predetermined time prior to commencement of the reservation time period, a check is made as to whether the first charging device (1) is available for charging. If the first charging device (1) is not available for charging, at least one other charging device (3) is reserved for the reservation time period. |
