PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method capable of cooling a die for sufficiently preventing corrosion of the die even during the operation of the die, and enhancing cooling efficiency at a low cost.SOLUTION: Corrosion of a die 10 can be prevented during the operation of the die by using a coil member 233 provided in a cooling water pipe 231 to be inserted in the cooling hole 14 of the die 10 as an anode for electrolytic protection by the external power system. Further, since any stress corrosion cracking during the operation of the die can be prevented by the electrolytic protection, a distance between the bottom part of the cooling hole 14 and a cavity surface CS can be reduced. Accordingly, internal cooling efficiency can be enhanced. |
