<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calorie calculation device which allows a user to easily input contents of a meal in a calorie calculation. <P>SOLUTION: When a user inputs his/her weight and subjective meal amounts of the day in the calorie calculation device, the device calculates an estimated calorie intake amount of day. The estimated calorie intake amount is determined by using the input weight and subjective meal amounts of the day and a correction value for correcting a calorie intake calculation error due to variation in subjective meal amounts accompanying his/her weight change. It means that the user only needs to input simple information on his/her weight of the day and subjective meal amounts that he/she grasps (for example, "more," "regular," and "less."), while significantly reducing input labor in comparison with other conventional devices which require types and amount of each food item to be input.
