<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate estimation whether or not a rolling load is present in a stable rolling area, the estimation that is conducted by an operator at line acceleration, and suppress the dispersion of setting of the maximum rolling speed, and thereby to increase the maximum rolling speed to an upper limit.SOLUTION: A maximum rolling speed setting support method includes the steps of: collecting rolling performance data at the acceleration containing at least a rolling load, tension and a board thickness before or during the coil rolling, when setting a maximum rolling speed at the line acceleration of a tandem mill 20; performing the rolling load estimation using the rolling performance data for each stand to the point of each speed collected before the coil rolling, or performing the rolling load estimation of the area in a speed range higher than the speed of the collected data for each stand by using the rolling performance data; and displaying the rolling load estimation result in a screen.</p> |
