<p>The end piece has a clip (8) positioned in a residual gap for absorbing forces of two end piece halves, where the gap is formed between end blades. Two shim halves (5, 6) are arranged between the end piece halves and restrained with a wedge, and comprise shim tabs above an undercut. The shim halves are arranged to be driven by the wedge. Moving blades, intermediate pieces, and the blades are fitted in a circumferential slot. An independent claim is also included for a method of fitting an axially separate rotor end piece.</p> |
