PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a POS register, which is capable of performing in parallel accounting processing or registration processing of a plurality of customers, capable of easily switching the display to purchasing information of a customer whose accounting or registration processing is to be executed next.SOLUTION: A POS register includes: transaction storage means for storing purchasing information related to an item registered by registration processing for each customer; transaction display means for displaying the purchasing information of a customer whose registration processing or accounting processing is proceeding, the purchasing information being stored by the transaction storage means, and selectably displaying a plurality of switchable selection areas each of which associates purchasing information with a customer; display switching means for causing the transaction display means to display a selection area corresponding to the purchasing information of a customer whose accounting processing or registration processing is to be executed next by discriminating it from other selection areas, while the purchasing information of the present customer is displayed by the transaction display means. The transaction display means displays a selection area selected in a different color by which it is discriminated from a selection area corresponding to the purchasing information of a customer for whom another accounting processing or registration processing is to be executed.
