Box for connecting optical fibres

The box (1) has a box body (2) with a fixation opening for fixing the body to a mounting bracket using a fixing unit e.g. screw (5), and a cover (3) for covering the body. The cover includes a passage opening (4) associated to the fixation opening. The passage opening allows passage of the fixation unit from an exterior of the box toward the fixation opening. The cover removably covers the body such that the cover is removed when the body is fixed to the mounting bracket. A plug (10) closes the passage opening.
