<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic brake of which axial size is reduced and of which manufacturing is easy, an electromagnetic brake assembling method and an assembling method for electromagnetic brake for stepping motor.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic brake is operated such that under a state in which an electromagnetic assembly is not magnetically energized by a permanent magnet arranged within an armature assembly, the armature assembly is sucked toward the magnet assembly against a repelling force of a repelling means and braked and at the same time when the electromagnetic assembly is magnetically energized, a magnetic force for cancelling the a magnetic flux of the permanent magnet is generated, the armature assembly is released with a biasing force of the repelling means to release the brake. The armature assembly 3 is comprised of armature elements 3A, 3B having annular magnetic body axially divided, a permanent magnet 8 arranged between these armature elements 3A, 3B and formed into an annular and axially magnetized form and there is provided a clearance or a non-magnetic body 11 arranged between the armature elements 3A, 3B where the permanent magnet 8 is not present.</p> |
