FIELD: oil and gas industry.SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the method and the protection device for protection of at least one barrier (5) of the well against excessive bending moments from the riser (2). The protection device according to the present invention is implemented with a possibility of determination of the critical bending loadings in or between the barrier (5) of the well and/or the riser (2) and may contain the device for determination of changes of curvature between the load bearing pipe of the riser (2) and the non-bearing rigid housing (18) attached to the riser pipe (2) or near the pipe, the device implemented with a possibility of measurement of relative distance (d) between the load bearing pipe of the riser (2) and the non-bearing rigid housing (18) and device for starting of detachment of the demountable connector (6) of the riser when the distance (d) between the load bearing pipe of the riser (2) and the non-bearing rigid housing (18) achieves the value of pre-set critical distance (d).EFFECT: design improvement.10 cl, 13 dwg |
