<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant base oil which can satisfy both of viscosity-temperature characteristic and low-temperature viscosity characteristic in a high level, a method for producing the same, and a lubricant composition containing the lubricant base oil. <P>SOLUTION: The lubricant base oil is a hydrocarbon-based lubricant base oil having a urea adduct value of≤4 mass%, a viscosity index of≥100 and an average carbon number, obtained from gas chromatography distillation, of 27-31, wherein in the range of 0-50 ppm of the<SP>13</SP>C-NMR spectrum thereof, the value given by dividing an integral of a peak at 30 ppm by an integral of all peaks is 0.1-0.2, and in the range of 0-50 ppm of the<SP>13</SP>C-NMR spectrum, the product of the value given by diving an integral of a peak attributed to a tertiary carbon atom by an integral of all peaks and the average carbon number is 1.8-2.5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
